Location: Remote working (with occasional office travel)
Salary: up to £28,000 per annum

As an SEO Executive will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing the SEO strategy across the Citation Groups portfolio of websites.

This includes the carrying out of technical audits, keyword research and competitor analysis on each of these brands.

They will also be working closely with our internal Content, UX and Dev teams to deliver 1st class SEO.


The role
- Planning the SEO strategy for the brands within the group by identifying opportunities to improve performance in organic visibility through both on and off-page methods.
- Optimising copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
- Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities and briefing in the content team.


- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Work closely with the heads of marketing to report on monthly SEO activities and adjust strategy where needed


What we are looking for:
- Some experience using a range of SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.


- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Comfortable analysing high volumes of data on a daily basis
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
- Excellent relationship skills - able to operate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
