We have an exciting opportunity for Trainee Project Assistant / Office Administrator to join our team.

Flexible Working: Yes, office and home working option available

Salary: £20,000- £25,000 per annum depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent PAYE

Hours: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Installation Technology (IT) have been providing network solutions for over 30 years.

We work with some of the biggest organisations in education, healthcare and transport.

We are looking for Project Assistants to provide engineering management and QA function to support on documentation and low-level design.

Full training will be provided.

Job Description

The primary role is to support the Project Engineers and Project Managers to produce Station Surveys in line with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

You will become familiar with TfL's estate and ways of working; shown the technology and equipment being deployed to provide a public cellular network across the oldest underground system in the world.

The role engages with our client in receiving their Low Level Design (LLD), reviewing it against existing site works through to sending a completed documentation pack to the client which enables our engineers to be put to work.

You may have previous experience as a:

* Office administrator

* PMO assistant


* Support the production of Station Surveys and associated documentation packs to enable Space Applications.

* Collation of information and documentation across station work stream

* Interface as required with Project Engineers and Project Managers

* Identify issues and opportunities for efficiency

* Monitoring of Station Survey performance against Service Level Agreements

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

* Good standard of education (A Levels or equivalent)

* Standard Computer skills (Microsoft office applications)

* Excellent Communication skills (both verbal and written)

* Some project Management Skills

* Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads

Essential Attitudes / Expierence

* Client orientated and the ability to be part of the project team

* Attention to detail

* Willingness to learn and develop

* Positive attitude to change

* Act as a company ambassador at all times

* Some office administrative skills would be beneficial bit not essential as training will be provided.


* AutoCAD knowledge and experience

* Knowledge of TFL Site Rules and Standards
