Business Development Manager


Remote Working


Up to £55,000 + OTE £100k


The Opportunity:


Get Recruited are proud to be supporting a market leading business who work with clients in the UK and internationally.

Due to continued growth and success, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their existing Sales team.


The successful candidate needs to approach the challenge with an open and enthusiastic approach and have an analytical and entrepreneurial mindset.

Over time the successful candidate will continually build, develop and mine a database of prospective clients, initiating and cultivating these relationships to identify, qualify and progress opportunities.

The Business Development Manager Role:



  • Contact prospects regularly through relevant channels, manage ongoing relationships and follow up and secure introductions with clients Converting leads from both marketing campaigns and incoming enquiries into fully qualified leads

  • Manage and maintain the sales pipeline, sales reporting and providing insights back into the business.

  • Responsibility for outbound sales, pitching products/services and setting up meetings with potential clients.

  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships externally.

  • Collaborate with the senior management team to plan and deliver a sales strategy to generate revenue.

  • Coordinating pitch preparation, including briefings, status meetings with teams, writing proposals and ensuring all deliverables are of the highest quality.

  • Build and maintain first-class product, industry, and competitor knowledge.

  • Attending client meetings & trade shows when necessary.

  • Ensure CRM is up-to-date and accurate at all times (Hubspot).


The Person:



  • Experience with HR/IT or analytics related products/services

  • 2+ years' experience in sales.

  • You are charismatic, a people person, and can quickly build relationships while demonstrating authority.

  • You'll be excited by the thrill of selling and the validation that comes from bringing genuine benefit to new clients by convincing them of our approach.

  • You'll be hugely enthusiastic to embed yourself in the company and help build it into a long-term success.

  • Avid networker and strong relationship builder.

  • You are highly organised and have flawless, compelling written English.

  • You have a natural curiosity and keep your ear to the ground when it comes to industry news and are interested in brands and marketing.

  • You are proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, communicative, and calm in stressful situations/tight deadlines.
