We are working with a rapidly growing, innovative, and dynamic data solutions company who are dedicated to helping their clients solve complex business challenges.

They are going through a hypergrowth period as they continue to expand their footprint within the data landscape across a variety of industries, and they are looking for experienced Product Managers to join the team and help them continue to provide an exceptional service to their clients by addressing their core business problems.

As the Product Manager, you will lead the sales activities and product development roadmap, including all aspects of the product lifecycle from market research, product positioning, product insights through to product development and implementation to ensure that the products meet client needs.

Job Responsibilities


  • Defining, agreeing, and mobilising the elements of the Commercial Product Development Strategy in collaboration with the senior management team
  • Identifying market opportunities to define the elements of the Commercial Product Strategy / Road Map
  • Business case development and monitoring the elements of Commercial Product Development Strategy delivery and updates to the business case as required working closely with Finance
  • Collaborating with Product Development, Business Development, Business Delivery, Finance and Strategic Partners to define, design and adapt the product features balancing the business, customer, sector needs with technical and project constraints and timelines
  • Work with the Technical teams to develop the technical roadmaps, implement new products, deliver product enhancements in line with the agreed strategy
  • Clearly communicate product release plans, strategy, benefits and results to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Engage with delivery teams to liaise with external clients on the technical detail of the product and how it would work for the end client to incorporate any necessary changes in the product
  • Engage with the Marketing and Delivery Teams to coordinate and obtain direct feedback from clients on the products and services to help direct the roadmap
  • Ensure the product information is fully documented from a sales, technical and business perspective
  • Research and identify potential new products / data sets which differentiate the company in the marketplace working closely with the Business Development and senior management team to support new customers, industries, and markets
  • Support the business development activity by providing product expertise in the sales process as and when required
  • Support the design of business development, marketing, and sales collateral
  • Leading the delivery of and maintaining product demonstrations to support the sales process
  • Design and deliver KPI’s for the Commercial Product Management team
  • Conduct market analysis to maintain awareness of the market and be able to effectively identify customer needs and trends
  • Conducting competitor analysis to maintain awareness of competitors and their products / capabilities

Person Specification


  • Senior management experience including board level exposure
  • Developed strong organisation, planning and negotiation skills, ideally, within a sales, marketing, or product team
  • Advanced MS Office skills including MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and be comfortable in the use of other office packages e.g., Excel.
  • Experience working within a larger Company would be of interest, but you should also be able to adapt to working in a small team, where priorities can change rapidly and where the company is developing new processes and procedures to bring greater structure and operational rigour
  • You must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be very comfortable interacting with all people at all levels across the internal team and with our client contacts
  • Strong analytical skills, exposure to financial accounting principles, business case development and / or pricing would be an advantage
  • Market awareness of product solutions
  • Product ‘Go-to-Market’ experience
  • Flexible to work across two locations

Hours of Work and Pay


  • £55,000 to £70,000
  • Monday to Friday
