My client is looking for a temporary experienced administrator with good coordination skills.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
You will be providing administrative support to a small team and customers by ensuring that licences and permit applications are received via post or electronically, and are issued accurately and efficiently within the statutory timeframe.
To provide initial information (based upon a general understanding of the statutory responsibilities under the various Licensing regulations) to premises licence holders, responsible authorities, and members of the public on aspects of licensing.
Dealing with visitors and advising and directing them accordingly.
To ensure, as an Administrator, that the entries into the local database and public registers are accurate and up to date, and in an auditable state; being able to produce mandatory returns as required by different professional and Governmental bodies.
To record all licensing cheques in an auditable spreadsheet for Finance.
To produce and send out (via email/Licensing web pages/mail) weekly renewal notices of licences (Annual Fees, Medicals, Vehicle Compliance Tests, and Trackers for premises and Temporary Event Notices).
In addition, as annual/application fees are received, these are recorded and paid into Finance.
Maintaining and updating published documents as required on the licensing web pages.
Reviewing the Licensing generic email account and maintaining the diary for house-to-house and street collections.
To scan all applications and documents, inputting the images into the document imaging system, ensuring they are properly referenced.
To participate in any relevant training for the duties of this post and to undertake ongoing training.
