Project Engineer


The Project Manager role:


Reporting to the site Engineering Manager you will plan and prepare the site for the removal, transfer and re-installation of production machinery at another site within the group (Cambridgeshire to Kent).

Whilst the role will be Cambridgeshire based you will be required to travel to Kent as and when the project requires (mileage paid between sites).



General Duties involve:


- Lead the project from inception to completion, Facilitating project planning sessions with stake-holders and suppliers to determine the scope and objective.


- Devising, developing, and implementing the project.


- Provide engineering solutions and commercial data


- Manage project risk using quality tools to identify areas of risk and work with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions.



The Successful Project Manager:


- Demonstrable experience of managing cradle-to-grave Capex projects


- Self-reliant and autonomous.


- Well organised, proficient with MS office packages, has good energy and ability to coordinate many tasks.


- A machinery-based Engineering background is preferred.


- Ability to work cross functionally and excellent project management skills.



The role has been assessed as OUTSIDE of IR35 and as such you may work through a Ltd Company


£400 per day (Ltd Company)


6 Months + project
