Project Manager

The Company:

National Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO).

This company work with developers and commercial businesses to connect utility supplies.

Design and build electrical connections for low and high voltage applications.

The company offer a full range of planning, feasibility and installation services for utility infrastructure projects.

The Role:

Hybrid working available on a 3 and 2 basis.

Office is based in Olney.

As a Project Manager, you will take ownership and manage delivery for programme of works.

Liaising with clients regularly and provide monthly portfolio reports.

This is largely a home/office based role – not site based.

Manage and maintain project information within internal work management IT system.

Support data management for internal and external reporting.

Liaise with legal facilitators and solicitors to ensure land legals are progressed and completed.

Review supplier data queries, resolve data conflicts and errors within IT system.

Manage highway street works obligations via IT based system.

Liaise with and gather information from external field based operations to ensure systems are updated.

Liaise with various departments within the business to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Generating and Issuing of MPAN information.

The Ideal Person:

Previous experience as a Project Manager.

Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft office applications and tools.

Willingness to learn and use preparatory commercial IT systems e.g.

document filing and retrieval.

Ability to prioritise work activity to deliver business requirements.

Work flexibly either under supervision or on own initiative as required.

Comfortable in using oral and written communications media to interface with suppliers, customers, clients and general public enquiries.

Pro-active, customer focused attitude with a passion for the industry and business.

Good understanding of project management and asset management systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, internally and externally.

Flexible, adaptable and highly motivated in all areas of projects and operations.

Ability to work as an individual with minimum supervision and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.

Ability to work to a high standard of detail and accuracy.

Good understanding of asset management systems.

Prince 2, Agile, APM or equivalent.

NRSWA competency would be an advantage.
