Labourer

We have a role come up for a Labourer to join our team covering our depot in Guildford.

This is a full time post working Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.

We are looking for someone to assist with the day to day running of the Depot, in particular keeping it in a well maintained, clean and tidy condition.

Main duties

• Litter pick and sweep all roads, yards and pavements.


• Clear gully grids of debris.


• Check and clean the vehicle wash drain.


• Wash all signs and other street furniture.


• Clean and sweep both vehicle garages.


• Keep the area around any skips clean and tidy.


• Keep all areas clear of weeds.


• Cut back bushes and trees around the perimeter.


• Ensure items stored in storage areas are kept neat and tidy.

• Report any defects to the Facilities Supervisor when identified - i.e.
  
  lights out, leaking gutters, broken windows etc.


• Carry out basic repairs as required within your capabilities.


• Carry out cyclical maintenance as instructed - i.e.
  
  gutter cleaning, painting etc.
