PET-CT Technologist - Perm - UK Mobile Sites

Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a PET-CT Technologist to work across UK sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions.

Working as a PET-CT Technologist, you will deliver a professional and efficient PET-CT service, working alongside your colleagues in dynamic and fast-paced sites

Location: UK wide (hotel covered if required or car allowance/mileage paid)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (36 Hours)
Hours: 3 Long Days Monday - Friday

What’s in it for you?

On a typical day you will:

- Undertake supervised imaging procedures in line with existing modality specific clinical guidelines and protocols (IRMER2000, IRR 99, ARSAC)
- Run Quality Assurance checks on equipment, and action as appropriate
- Ensure due regard is given to the customs, values and spiritual beliefs of patients and to ensure patients views are sought and taken into account
- Ensure Patient Information Systems are maintained with accurate and up to date information

What will you need to succeed in this role?

- Have a BSc in Radiography or equivalent
- Have current HCPC registration
- Experience working with PET CT equipment in a hospital or mobile environment
- Be prepared to undertake travel (UK and Ireland) and to stay away from home
