Business Development Manager
Who are STR? We have been providing specialist recruitment services since 2000 and have offices in Portsmouth and Handcross that home our six specialists recruitment brands.
Our brands operate in the Architecture and Interior Design, Automation, Built Environment, Engineering, IT, Maritime and Life Sciences markets.
To support the rapid growth of our Life Sciences brand ‘Blackfield Associates', our Group Sales team are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to further develop our existing portfolio of clients.
Blackfield Associates have agreements with many leading pharmaceutical, bio-tech, medical device and regulated manufacturing based clients.
Relationships are key, and this newly created role will focus on ringfencing, enhancing and expanding these relationships with key stakeholders within the UK, and where relevant, into the EU, Switzerland and US.
Reporting to the Group Sales Director, and having daily interaction with the Directors and Consultants of Blackfield, this role will require the:
, Management of a nominated portfolio of current clients from an account development perspective
, Mapping out of existing clients to identify additional departments, sites and territories for growth
, Proactive development of our network of key stakeholders at Manager / Director and C Suite level
, Conducting of client reviews and setting out action plans for account growth
, Upselling of the Blackfield Associates range of recruitment solutions such as retained search and recruitment projects
We are very keen to hear from Business Development or Client Relationship professionals with demonstrable experience of client development within the technical/engineering recruitment industry.
An understanding of delivering services within Pharma, or across CapEx projects would be advantageous.
The role will involve travel to clients throughout the UK, with potential scope for international visits as the role develops.
