SAP Consultant - SAP Implementation

Monarch IT are working with a Japanese Consultancy Firm who are looking for an experience SAP Consultant to join them on a permanent basis.

This is a hybrid role that will require you to be onsite 1-3 days per week - Based in London.

We are looking for a SAP Consultant with experience in SAP implementation projects and support who has confidence in dealing with customers directly and prides themselves on their interpersonal skills.

This role has the potential to grow and change with your input, so it would suit someone interested in developing the role into something new and specific to the increasing needs of the company and our clients.

SAP Application Support

- Provide second-level support and assist with third-level support.
- Troubleshoot and manage resolution of operation problems for assigned Business Application.
- Define business requirements discussing with end users and translate it to technical language for 3rd line support.
- Manage change process to meet business requirements working closely with 3rd line support.
- To provide support queries professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high degree of customer service
- To work effectively and productively with 3rd line support
- To take ownership of user problems, perform a technical diagnosis and fix the issue either remotely or on-site
- To document all calls on the call logging system
- Produce statistics each month on Helpdesk issue

Project Based Work

- Assist in design and implementation work
- Create/update user manual and carry out necessary training's for users
- Assist in creating UAT scenario for users and handle enquires raised by users during UAT
- Proved ‘hyper-care’ support for certain period after Go-Live
- Manage project schedule and issues raised during project period with project management tools
- Keep a close communication with all stakeholders to run projects smoothly
- Manage off/near-shore/3rd party vendors

Required Skills

- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Knowledge of SAP (SD/MM): Certificate of SAP S/4 HANA for Financial Accounting Associates or equivalent
- Basic Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO)
- Experience of SAP support role
- Basic knowledge and understanding of software development languages, including SQL
- Accounting skills: the official Business Skills Test in Bookkeeping, 3rd grade (The Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry) or equivalent
- Project management skills
- Japanese Language (Speaking and written) would be ideal.

Due to this being a permanent position they are happy to wait for longer notice periods if applicable.
