Customer Support Assistant

Customer Support Assistant - Central London (Zone 1) - £23,330 per annum + Bonus

My client, a leading Student Accommodation firm in London, are currently seeking a number of Customer Support Assistants to act as the first point of contact for residents across a number of their Central London sites.

You'll be the smiling face that welcomes the residents, delivering excellent customer service and providing solutions to any problems that may arise.

Duties:



  • First point of contact for residents offering excellent customer service

  • Providing a practical and timely solution to any issues that may arise including communicating maintenance issues to colleagues

  • Assisting with running of social events

  • Carrying out checks and building walks

  • Assisting contractors, visitors and university partners with their requirements.

  • Inspecting communal areas; the lifts, corridors, residents' rooms (prior to their check-out)

  • Carrying out a room inspection or showing a potential resident one of the suites or studios

  • Supporting on-boarding of new colleagues into the team; answering questions and sharing your knowledge

  • Assisting with parcels and post queries

  • Undertake training on different processes: how we keep residents and colleagues safe and GDPR

  • Dealing with issues or incidents and calling the emergency services when needed

  • Working with your other colleagues from the Maintenance and Night Teams to achieve the best results and solutions for our residents

  • Understanding the importance of Health & Safety and Fire Safety in all that is done and report anything that is not safe


Skills and Experience Required:



  • Prior experience in a Customer Service focused role

  • Friendly and positive attitude

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build report

  • Able to use own initiative

  • Self-starter

  • Effective IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft


Location: 7 vacancies across City, King's Cross, Vauxhall and other locations across Zone 1
Hours: 7.5 hours a day on a flexible shift system, working 5 days out of 7; working weekends and bank holidays on a rotating basis (Weekends tend to be every 7/8 weeks)
Salary: £23,330 per annum + Bonus
