They have a range of different sporting activities and a restaurant/ Café.

With the ever-growing company going from strength to strength an opportunity has opened up for an enthusiastic, team player to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Month end management accounts
• Month end reconciliations and journal entry
• Maintenance of fixed asset register and ability to calculate depreciation rates
• Monthly payroll administration/coordination for 5 cost centres via a 3rd party - must have ability to create payroll journals
• Assisting with the year end accounts and audit preparation
• Assisting with the payroll year end and P11D ’s
• Vat returns – preparation/reconciliation
• Knowledge of deferred income an advantage
• An understanding of company insurance policies
• An understanding of merchant services and payment gateways (Realex/PayPal/Amex)
• An understanding of pension schemes
• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries
• Collating all necessary new starter paperwork for payroll and pensions
• Liaising with external stakeholders for payroll, pensions, and healthcare

Candidate Profile

• CIMA LEVEL 3/4 candidates should apply (study package to be included)
• Must have at least three years’ experience in a financial environment
• Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate work with others
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong double entry skills and attention to detail is critical
