Conveyancing Lawyer

Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in North London, which is in need of a Property Lawyer to join their team and assist with the successful running of the Council's Conveyancing department.

Role: Property Lawyer

Location: West Midlands, hybrid working

Rate: £35-£40ph

Contract Length: 3 months ongoing

The Role:

• Deal with your own Conveyancing law (Residential and Commercial) caseload from start to completion


• Focus on supporting the delivery of the Council's Development and Regeneration Programme and the delivery of the economic growth agenda by the Economy & Environment Directorate


• Provide oral and written advice to Council departments and other service providers, in relation to procedural issues, policy matters, individual cases and statutory disputes/powers arising out of land and property development matters

The Person:

• A qualified Solicitor/Lawyer or Legal Executive with 3+ years of PQE in Conveyancing Law (Residential and Commercial)


• Focus on supporting the delivery Someone who is comfortable dealing with your own caseload whilst assisting others with theirs and providing sound legal advice


• Ideally someone who has worked within a Conveyancing legal team at Local Authority level
