Residential Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for Residential Support Worker to work with looked after children in residential homes across the Doncaster area on a permanent basis.

We are looking for a passionate and proactive individual to join the council as a Residential Support Worker to work with children and young people within care.

This is a demanding but extremely rewarding role where you will be required to to work sensitively as a team member in providing a warm, caring, enabling environment designed to meet the emotional, social and physical needs of looked after children and young people.

Due to the nature of this position, you will be required to work to a rota on shifts from 7am - 3pm, 2pm - 10pm and sleep ins.

This does include weekends and bank holidays too.

Whilst in this role, the council will support you through additional training and qualifications including, but not limited to, QCF Level 3 in Residential Child Care, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Signs of Safety Model.
