Our client is an award-winning manufacturer of Food products.

Due to growth they are now seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to join the team in a role that will support the Technical Manager.

 This is an excellent opportunity to join a privately owned company in a day based role.

 The role is fast paced, demanding and diverse, and will hold a real breadth for exposure to all aspects of technical within the food industry.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, with attention to detail and a passion for technical to be successful in this role.

Reporting to the Technical Manager.

The primary responsibility is the management of all finished product specification systems, internally and externally to ensure compliance with Technical and Quality Assurance accreditations.

The role includes working to deadlines and providing varying information to meet customers' requirements.

The role will involve prioritising and management of a varying and changing workload.


Quality Systems Co-ordinator Skills / Experience Required
1) Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a food manufacture environment.

2) Recognised qualification such as HND/degree in a food manufacture discipline.

3) intermediate/advanced food hygiene certificate
4) Previous experience with retailer specification systems is advantageous
5) Experience in BRC/Gluten Free/ HACCP/ISO 14001 would be advantageous
6) Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
7) Understanding of food legislation, HACCP & TACCP principles
8) Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach is key in this position
10) Effective communication skills at all levels
11) Self-motivated
12) Proficiency in Microsoft packages principally Word & Excel
