Contract Software Engineer

Redline have a fantastic remote working, OUTSIDE IR35 opportunity, with a leading technology development customer based in Newcastle.

Due to a recent project win, our client is looking for a Contract Embedded Software Engineer to help them deliver on their project to key customers.

As a contract Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for development of code in embedded C++, validating the system in line with SIL.

The client offers a very collaborative working environment where communication is key to resolving coding issues.

In addition to this you will need the following:

Essential:

• Ability to lead a software and test team


• Relevant and demonstrable experience coding


• Ability to problem solve

Highly Desirable:

• Software Architecture and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.


• Real Time Software in C++


• Linux


• Agile, Scrum, Waterfall Methodologies using tools such as Jira, Confluence


• Working Knowledge of EN50128
