You'll be fully immersed in the leadership of the Technical team, in what is guaranteed to be a diverse and varied role where no two days are the same.

Here is a list of some of the key responsibilities for the Technical Director:

• Lead and Manage engineering activities throughout the business including the design, development, and innovation of products
• Manage the budget for the department
• Champion sustainable solutions for the business
• Manage localised technical processes ensuring quality, cost, timing and legislative compliance
• Ensuring safety excellence
• Owning and leading the company's Value Strategy
• Ensuring new equipment and engineering activity is supported with qualification
• Ensuring technical documentation is thorough and accurate
• Liaising with the Production function ensuring efficient manufacturability

Here are some of the requirements for the position:

• Previous experience of Senior Leadership in Engineering
• An understanding of engineering modelling/CAD
• Proven experience of implementing engineering methods
• Proven people management and development skills
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering related discipline
• Excellent IT skillset including spreadsheets
• Core understanding of respect at work
• Passion for delivering quality and value
