Costs Draftsperson

My client is a highly regarded, international law firm seeking a Costs Draftsperson to join their Casualty team in Manchester.

This is an opportunity to join a top tier law firm that can offer you excellent career progression.

As a Costs Draftsman you will take on a range of responsibilities to include:

• Assessing and negotiating settlement of multi-track costs including handling of related costs proceedings


• Drafting own party and opposing third party cost budgets


• Pursuing costs recoveries including bill drafting


• Advocacy at court hearings

The successful candidate should have the following:

• At least 5 years' experience of working in Costs


• Experience of working on multi-track costs matters


• Experience of costs budgeting


• Advocacy experience would be preferable but is not essential
