Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

A world leading product design consultancy requires a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer job in the Warwickshire area.

You will be working closely with designers, electronics and software engineers and other skill teams to integrate the visual and functional aspects of a product.

Ideally the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer job should be pro-active in their work approach.

The role will suit a creative candidate with good problem-solving skills, someone that is able to generate innovative solutions to design problems.

You will be advising, supporting and checking the work of the more junior members of the engineering team when necessary.

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer should have:

• A first or upper second degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally a Masters, or an equivalent technical qualification


• Experience of product development from concept to volume manufacturing


• Experience of 3D CAD packages


• Experience of plastics, ideally from the Medical or FMCG sectors
