THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited is partnered with a growing Accountancy Firm in the Shrewsbury area.

They're looking to hire an Assistant Accountant, to work in a busy practice environment and report into the Practice Manager.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Data entry, Invoices & management of Suppliers billing/invoice


• Bank & Credit Card reconciliations


• Monitoring customer accounts: debt management & credit control


• Prepare Year End Accounts / Quarterly VAT returns


• Assist in the production of monthly accounts and reports including fixed assets register, aged creditors, balance sheet, P&L

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT KEY EXPERIENCE:

• Recent graduate with an Accounts & Finance degree or equivalent


• Competent with MS Excel


• Xero Accountancy Software (advantageous)


• 1 year's Experience in working in an Accountancy Practice or a busy Accounts function, as an Assistant Accountant / Accounts Assistant

THE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS UP TO £25,000 BASE + BENEFITS + STUDY SUPPORT
