Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Manchester city centre-based law firm looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with up to 4+ years' experience.

About the firm

Our client is a Litigation specialist, rapidly growing law firm who pride themselves on their excellent client care services.

They are looking for somebody who can help to assist in contested litigation and monitor the more junior members of this close-knit team.

About the role

Within this Commercial Litigation role, a typical day may consist of dealing with applications to Court, preparing witness statements, attending hearings and instructing Counsel to attend hearings and advising loyal clients on merits of the given case.

Duties and Responsibilities

As well as the above, your duties and responsibilities whilst working as a Litigation Solicitor may include:

• Preparation and service of Statutory Demands


• Preparation and service of Bankruptcy Petitions


• Preparation and issue of county court claims


• Preparation of bundles ahead of Court hearings

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to work within a small team, especially supporting the more junior members, be highly organised, have excellent communication skills when it comes to clients and co-workers and have a desire to learn and develop.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with ideally 2-4 years PQE to assist in a spectrum of litigation issues and become an expert within the field.
