Manufacturing Work Study Engineer - London (Greenwich) - £43.20 per hour Umbrella - Contract - min 6 months (ongoing)

My client is an industry leader in the provision of critical infrastructure solutions throughout the world and is looking for a Manufacturing Work Study Engineer to join their small but critical team.

As a Manufacturing Work Study Engineer you will analyse data in order to establish a library of standard build times for existing submerged products in production and variation of products within a Product Catalogue and create template and maintain standard times, Reference Operation Sets, BOM on SAP/MRP System.

Further, you will study Submerged Equipment Designs to conduct observations on submerged product build procedures to determine time and motion requirements and use traditional time study methods to perform production studies and apply principles of Industrial Engineering to evaluate work method proposals and to make cost recommendation.

Ideally, you will have some experience with SAP and possess a strong background in manufacturing or industrial engineering where you have made improvements to manufactured products using business improvement methodologies, following safety measures to meet and exceed project requirements and standards.

Initially this is a 6 month contract although likely to last for much longer, possibly up to 2 years.
