Associate Investment Consultant

Job Description:

Our client, a market leading and growing investment consultancy are seeking an experienced Investment Associate Consultant to provide high quality investment advice in a professional and efficient manner.

You will have industry experience, either within another consultancy practise or in the asset management field, understanding investment strategies and client management skills.

You will have started your CFA or actuarial qualifications

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Excellent knowledge of investment strategies across all asset classes


• Client management experience, with first class interpersonal and communication skills


• Flexible, pro-active, and innovative approach to client solutions.


• A team player with a motivational, hands-on approach.


• Flexible to travel to client sites in the UK

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Evidence of good professional exam in either CFA or actuarial exams

Core Responsibilities:

• Providing investment advice to both trustee and corporate clients on a wide range of issues.


• Directing and advising a portfolio of clients.


• Own and manage the delivery of client advice - key liaison person within client team.


• Delivering high quality, expert investment advice employing strategic and innovative solutions.


• Developing business - active involvement in client ‘prospecting', relationship building and new business pitches.


• Building and maintaining strong links with other areas of the business to facilitate cross selling.
