Job Title              Head of Operations

Salary:                 £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Location:            Edinburgh

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Operator to head up the Catering and Cleaning operations at a fantastic heritage site.

This is a unique site with multiple offerings who deliver incredible events and so we are seeking a senior leader with a real passion for food and service.

It’s an incredible opportunity for someone who is looking for an exciting new challenge!

Key responsibilities:

• Maximise profitability of the catering and cleaning operations
• Lead, develop, manage and motivate a high performing team
• Support the Operations Director in the development of business strategy
• Manage the services and teams to the agreed standards
• Ensure that business deadlines and targets are hit
• Successful mobilisation of new offers
• Stakeholder management
• Manage P&L’s to deliver and exceed budget

Skills and Experience:

• Expertly manage senior client relationships
• Experience in managing high-volume venues or visitor attractions
• Extensive experience in delivering retail and high-quality hospitality operations
• Proven experience in managing P&L accounts and driving profitability
• Operational knowledge and experience in managing multi-faceted operations
• Management of large and diverse teams
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment
