Lab Technician

Manucomm Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Lab Technician,  QC lab technician, Laboratory Technician for a large and successful manufacturer based near Taunton, in Wellington.

  Working in the Quality Department, this is a permanent role This role is paying £25-27K DOE..


 
Reporting in to the Quality Control Laboratory Specialist on the newly established 24/7 roster you will be working on a continental shift pattern (approx 38.5hrs per week);
 
Working in the Quality Control Lab you'll use your analytical skills by analysing samples and products using wet chemical and instrumental techniques to ensuring operational compliance
Use your problem solving skills to support with investigation of customer complaints and issues to contribute to meeting customer requirements
Use organisation skills to arrange and conduct where appropriate calibration of specified equipment
Carry out Sampling of raw materials, propellants, mixed batches and finished goods using analytical and administrative skills to release or reject samples and prepare certificates of analysis.

And support traceability of goods.


 
The successful laboratory technician will have: -
·· At least GCSE Level in Maths and English and Science
·· Basic computer skills
·· Enthusiasm to learn and apply new skills
·· Good communication skills
·· Must have some Lab experience
·Happy to work Days and Nights
 
Salary and Hours
Salary £25-27K.
