E C&I Technician

E C&I Technician required to join a globally leading Chemical manufacturer within the agriculture industry based in West Yorkshire for a salary up to £36,000 per annum offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes pension contribution, annual bonus, health care scheme, up to 31.5 days holiday per year & overtime available.

As a E C&I technician you will be joining a global company active in 90 countries across the world who play a vital role in the food chain to safely feed the world and take care of the planet.

To be successful in this position as a E C&I Technician you will need to have completed a relevant apprenticeship plus hands on experience in a similar role, hold Compex Level 01-06 & 12 including a relevant craft qualification or HNC and a understanding of HSEQ standards & requirements and their application, through safe systems of work, to working on a top tier COMAH site.

Responsibilities of a E C&I Technician

• Have an in-depth knowledge of engineering systems, equipment & procedures.


• Knowledgeable in overall plant systems and interactions of processes with experience as a E C&I Technician.


• Aptitude to develop, follow & continuously improve checklists, procedures and processes.


• Carry out planned preventative routine maintenance, breakdown maintenance, inspection and testing of equipment.


• Maintain first line defect identification & elimination through use of effective problem-solving techniques as a member of the E C&I technician team.


• Carry out & refine maintenance routines.


• Read & interpret manufacturers' drawings & manuals to develop and generate test / maintenance procedures.
