Locum Social Worker - Parenting Assessments

A Local Authority in Merseyside are looking for a Locum Social Worker to complete Parenting Assessments for the Assessment and Intervention Service.

This is a non-caseholding role.

Responsibilities of the Locum Social Worker:

• The role will include working alongside other social workers in the service completing parenting assessments for children who are subject to pre-proceedings and care proceedings


• The role will require you to have excellent time management skills and be able to produce high quality parenting assessments within required timescale


• The hours of work will be 36 hours per week


• The role requires you to be an experienced social worker within child protection and court proceedings and have at least 3 years post qualifying experience in this field

Requirements of the Locum Supervising Social Worker:

• Social Work England Registration


• Clear enhanced DBS


• Minimum of 3 years' Social Work experience

Pay rate: £35 per hour (umbrella)

Location: Wirral
