MCG Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Surveyor (Building), who specializes in assessing and managing properties, buildings, and construction projects in Staffordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction, repair, and maintenance of properties, as well as conducting surveys and inspections to ensure that UK building codes and regulations are being followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction, repair, and maintenance of properties


• Conduct surveys and inspections to ensure UK building codes and regulations are being followed


• Manage budgets, contracts, and risk associated with construction projects


• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members


• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders


• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and standards

Requirements:

• The role requires a HNC or HND in Construction Management, or related field, as a minimum.
  
  A degree is desirable.


• Experience with AutoCAD LT is essential.


• Experience mainly of the Public and Commercial Sector, not residential, is essential, as the role focuses on educational sites.


• A good awareness of Carbon neutral and carbon reduction is important.
