Our client is looking for Senior Frontend Engineer with experience in frontend web development in a cloud environment.

The opportunity will be working on diverse projects using web and hybrid applications.



For the role you will an understanding of using RESTful API's, using them in a frontend application to build applications that are responsive and performant.

The company are an award-winning software development company that develop security solutions for the entertainment and media industry.



They have three offices in the UK and are looking for people to work fully remote or on a hybrid basis.

As a senior software engineer, you will:

Be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from design, prototype through development, testing and deployment.


Be working within teams that use Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Be challenged in technical areas to work as part of a rapidly growing technical organisation.
Demonstrate drive and enthusiasm, innovating, able to meet company requirements, and deliver to a high standard.
Working part of a team covering multiple web disciplines, design, develop and deploy web applications.
Have high attention to detail.
Required skills





· Commercial experience in Frontend development and web development focussing on design and browser performance.

· Masters or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

· Commercial development experience with building large web applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

· Previous experience building applications with JavaScript frameworks such as React and/or Vue.js

· Experience of working with tools and frameworks covering cross browser and device testing

· Familiarity with software configuration management (SCM) concepts and version control systems, especially Git

· Experience with automated testing best practices, and Continuous Integration/Delivery

· Familiarity using Unix/Linux systems, including scripting skills.

· Excellent problem solving skills

· Web socket experience





Nice to have skills

· Experience with AWS services such as Amplify, Cognito, ECS, Lambda, S3

· Previous experience with database technologies such as MySQL or Postgres

· Knowledge of server side languages such as NodeJS, PHP or Python

· Experience Jira & Gitlab
