Assistant Hygiene Manager - Nights

A newly formed opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Hygiene Manager has become available due to continued growth within one of the most forward-thinking food manufacturing companies in west Yorkshire.

You will be working for a market-leading business established over 10 years ago that produces high-quality products for a major UK retailer.

You will be working with a passionate hardworking team who are focused on teamwork and always looking at ways they can improve and develop high standards of hygiene across the business.

Roles and Responsibilities as an Assistant Hygiene Manager:

  • Monitoring adherence to site hygiene policies and procedures.

  • Managing appropriate stock levels of chemicals and other non-production consumables

  • maintaining the highest professional manufacturing and quality standards.

  • Leading the team; motivating, developing, and empowering team members to achieve set targets, building both strong teamwork and good working relationships.

I am keen to see CVs from individuals who have:

  • Previous experience in Hygiene within the food or drink manufacturing sector.

  • Previous experience in team management.

  • A COSHH or other relevant hygiene, food safety, or chemical handling certificate would be advantageous.

  • The fundamental ability to positively influence your team; requiring you to display both excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
