Logistics Supervisor

This Logistics Supervisor position is working with a market leading manufacturing group with manufacturing facilities in both the UK and Europe.

The role working out of their site near Dudley is offering fantastic personal development opportunities, an excellent salary of £35,000 per annum and a strong company benefits package.

Key Duties of the Logistics Supervisor -

• The leading, coaching and development of a team of around 20 logistics and warehouse operatives.


• To support production in the management of all logistics activities looking to improve OEE performance.


• Monitoring and driving KPI's ensuring that targets are achieved, exceeded.


• Overseeing periodic stock counts.


• Responsible for Health & Safety matters in the warehouse facility.


• Managing existing relationships with external partners alongside strong communication with the Sales Team.

What you need to apply -

• Experience of working within a manufacturing warehouse and logistics-based background as a warehouse manager / logistics manager - 5+ years


• Good experience leading a team, with the ability to inspire and develop employees


• Experience of running a pick and pack operation

Desirable -

• IOSH Qualification


• An understanding of Lean manufacturing techniques -5s, six Sigma, SMED, OEE
