Support/Play Worker - Oxford (17.5 hours per week)

As Support/Play Worker you will be supporting children and young people with a disability as a part of an after school provision and holiday play scheme, supporting creative play and fun activities to young disabled children and young people in a group setting

The overall purpose of this role is:



To work as part of a team supporting the provision of an exciting and challenging programme of activities in a safe and stimulating environment for children/young people with a range of disabilities/additional needs such as autism, behavioural, learning and emotional difficulties.
To work in partnership with parents/carers.
To encourage the children to play adventurously, creatively and imaginatively, and to enable them to obtain the full benefit of the facilities provided by the service.

This role is for 17.5hours per week.

including supporting:

Afterschool club during term time 3pm-6pm
School holidays supporting at play scheme usually 9:45am-3pm

Term time working could be considered for the right candidate
