Support Worker

We are looking for dedicated and passionate Support Workers to support a small childrens home based just outside of Crawley, West Sussex.

The home is brand new, modern and located in a beautiful area.

You will be supporting children aged 8-19 years with EBD as well as early life trauma and challenging behaviours.

There is always a friendly and supportive network around you.

As a support worker you will be expected to encourage inclusion, independance and communication as well as encouraging positive relationships.

Due to the young peoples needs you will also be delivering emotional support where needed.

Daily tasks include helping out with the school run, basic meal preparaition, housekeeping tasks, report writing, engaging in activities with the young people, assisting with homework tasks, supervising.

Shift pattern- 3 days on, 4 days off (12-hour shifts)

Requirements for you as a support worker:

• Proactive and positive attitude


• Reliable


• Calm and friendly approach


• Previous experience working with children or in residential setting


• Driver is essential due to poor transportation links

Pay rate: £10.00-£11.00 per hour + Holiday pay.
