Location: Donegal

Salary :31,000 to :33,000 per year

Job Type: Full time and permanent

Monday to Friday, office hours

Our client is seeking an experienced Revenue Sales Manager for their highly rated and recently revamped hotel to drive their commercial and business development strategy.

The hotel regularly welcomes guests from all over the world and is renowned for its corporate business stays, as well as golf and leisure packages.



Key Skills / Requirements:



* The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role in hospitality.


Responsibilities / Duties:



* Develop rates, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management in conjunction with Head Office Revenue Manager


* Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates - OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, groups - new markets, identify revenue gaps and proactively seek to drive revenue across Rooms, Event Space, Food and Beverage operations.


* Actively seek out new sales opportunities through events, showcases, online activity and social media as well as maintaining existing/return business


* Secure residential (and non-residential) business by networking with clients and actively targeting key corporate, agent and leisure clients with sales calls and visits


* Ongoing account management of any clients secured, including performance reviews and rate renegotiation


* Create monthly reviews and reports with sales and financial data to present to the Board of Directors


* Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions, trade shows and sales events both locally, nationally and international where applicable.


* Collaborate with team members / departments to achieve better results


* Ensure the hotel brand is developed in the market to position it as a must see venue.


* Carry out showrounds, appointments at the hotel as and when required.


* Participate in the creation of an effective Sales Plan that will increase awareness and deliver a solid return on investment.


* Assist in preparation of the marketing, advertising, sales plans for the rooms department.


* Build the digital presence of the hotel with the Head Office digital team, using the websites, social media and email marketing


* Develop and promote packages and events for prime seasonal campaigns


* Proactively looking for relevant news across the industry and sharing/creating relevant content accordingly
