Production Planner

A well-established food manufacturer in West Yorkshire has an exciting opening for a Production Planner.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Production Planner:

• Produce production plans that meet customers' forecasts and actual orders


• Ensure adherence to the plan by inputting and reconciling factory production


• Communicate with employees to ensure timely completion of production and dispatch


• Verify that orders are correctly entered and placed in appropriate systems for third parties


• Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries


• Expedition of time critical items as directed by senior management


• Manage third-party stock to ensure full availability, with minimal waste

• Have excellent IT and administrative skills


• Have previously worked/work in one of the following positions: Production Planner, Raw Materials Planner, Supply Chain Planner or Planner.


• Have worked within a food manufacturing company in the past 3-4 years.


• Have experience using SAP and MRP systems
