Analytical Biotransformation Scientist

We are currently looking for a Analytical Biotransformation Scientist to join a leading Biopharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area.

As the Analytical Biotransformation Scientist you will a laboratory-based scientist with experience in in-vitro assays and analytical chemistry skills, particularly in LC-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS), in the area of NCE drug discovery.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Analytical Biotransformation Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1.

You will be Generating LC-HRMS met ID data from the analysis of in vitro & in vivo samples.

2.

As the Analytical Biotransformation Scientist, you will be efficiently generating, reporting and disseminating data to functions and projects.

3.

You will be designing and executing biotransformation-based assays to address key issues.

4.

As the Analytical Biotransformation Scientist, you will be taking responsibility for the maintenance of LC-MS systems within the group.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Biotransformation Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1.

Relevant degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry

2.

Proven industry experience in the area of drug discovery (3+ years)

3.

A working knowledge and practical experience with Chromatographic & Spectroscopic equipment (HPLC, uHPLC, LC-HRMS)
