Chief Executive Officer - Software Business


Harper May is currently working with a cutting-edge software provider.

My client is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead and build their team.

The company has gone from strength to strength since inception and has a fantastic reputation for providing innovative solutions to companies worldwide.



Key Responsibilities :



  • Building the team - deciding on the company's departments structure and attracting key personal to fill such positions.

  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of daily operation of the company (Sales, support, Compliance/AML, Business development, payments etc)

  • Creating and carrying out business strategies, plans, policies and procedures

  • Overseeing the company's daily operations to make sure we achieve performance goals and performance

  • Create the structure and processes necessary to manage the organization's current activities and its projected growth.

  • Develops and implements procedures and controls to ensure that the operations of the company works in the most efficient way.

  • Participates in the characterization of software systems used by the company

  • Evaluates the results of the company regularly and systematically and reports to the Shareholder.

  • Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.

  • Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with regulations and laws governing business operations.

  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth

  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication

  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development

  • Prepares reports on a weekly and monthly basis relating to overall status of the bank operations and whether or not objectives are being met



Skills and Experience:



  • Atleast 5 years working experience as C-Level (COO, CEO) or equivalent role in a financial institution (Bank, Electronic Money Institution, Payment institution)

  • knowledgeable in regulations, payment schemes (Visa, Mastercard, SWIFT, SEPA, Faster payments etc)

  • Ability to demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development

  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
