Job Title: Lecturer in Electrical Installation

Location: Uxbridge

Salary: In addition to the below salary and dependent on experience, you may qualify for up to £5,000 as an additional annual payment



* Up to £35,713 per year for non-qualified teachers


* Up to £41,060 per year for qualified teachers


Hours: 36 hours per week

Job description

You will be joining a friendly, supportive team with a wide variety of industry experiences, who are committed to the success of their learners.

To be a successful candidate, you will be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Electrical Installation and have an advanced level teaching qualification (DET/Cert Ed/PGCE) and an Assessor award (A1 or equivalent) or will be willing and able to work towards both.

You will have experience in the electrical installation industry and teaching/training experience, with experience of assessing people in the workplace and understanding of the Further Education sector (especially City and Guild) being desirable.

Duties include:



* Recruiting students


* Being a part of the induction and support of students


* Curriculum management


* The design and delivery of programmes


Other duties include:



* Keep knowledge and skills up-to-date through self-study and undertake staff development and secondments relevant to professional needs.
