Social Worker

A Local Authority is looking for Social Workers for their Child Protect & Court teams (Locality).

These are a Permanent positions.

This Local Authority have made a number of changes as they are striving to be "Outstanding" rated.

You will need to be experienced in ensuring that the welfare of Children & Young people is safeguarded.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Social Worker:

• Carry out assessments, reviews and planning via evidence-based reccommendations


• Work closely with the Assessment & Intervention teams


• Report writing


• Court work


• Report to the Team Manager


• Hold a manageable caseload

Requirements for you as the Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)


• Registered with Social Work England


• Completed AYSE


• Experience within Children's Social Work


• A working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care

Location: West Midlands

Salary range: £35,409 - £46,016 d.o.e + benefits
