Health & Safety Coordinator

Our prestigious food manufacturing client is recruiting for a Health and Safety Coordinator who will gain fantastic benefits such as 8% company pension, 33 days of annual leave, and an attendance bonus to name a few.

This market-leading manufacturer has two state-of-the-art sites based in West Yorkshire which you will be expected to travel between to cover the needs of the business.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where no one day will be the same, as part of a dynamic and productive team.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Health & Safety Coordinator:

  • Coordination of site HSE risk assessments and accident management processes.

  • Co-ordinating company HSE systems, in adherence to OHSAS18001 standards and implementing HSE policies and procedures across the site.

  • Completion of Health & Safety audit schedules in order to meet requirements of OHSAS 18001.

  • Organising all third parties visits.

  • Delivery and development of HSE training programs.

  • Liaising with all departments on site.

I would love to see CVs from individuals who have:

  • A NEBOSH qualification as this is a requirement for this role.

  • Previously worked as a Health & Safety Officer, HSE Coordinator, SHE Advisor, HSE Assistant or similar role in food manufacturing in the UK.

  • Food Safety / Auditing qualifications that would be relevant.

  • Strong IT and excel skills as this will be a key part of the role.

  • The ability to work on their own initiative as well as apply forward thinking.
