My Client, a successful and expanding food flavourings company is looking to recruit a Technical Compliance Officer / Technical Officer for their site in Clevedon, near Bristol..  Working for a company that is part of a larger European group, the successful QA & Technical Compliance Officer will support the Technical and Operations Team
 
This is a Monday - Friday, 08.45 to 16:45 Mon- Thurs, 08:45 to 16:00 Friday (No shifts).

23 Days holiday (25 after qualifying period).


 
Main job duties will include:
· Ensure regulatory compliance within BRC, Kosher, Halal and any customer standards are met
· Provide support for the approval of all new and existing raw materials in line with raw material risk assessments
· Completion of customer specifications & documentation requests; and customer technical
·Complaints.

Provide support to the Technical Manager to ensure that any complaints are dealt with correctly
·Assist with internal auditing (CCP, GMP, Kosher and Halal)
 
Keys skills required for the Compliance / Quality Assurance role:
·Previous Food or Drink Technical / Quality /QC experience
·BRC experience
·Internal Auditing experience
·Ability to work in a small team
·Retailer experience would be very helpful
·HACCP
 
This role is commutable from Bridgwater, Highbridge, Cheddar, Portishead, Clevedon, Bristol, Weston Supermare and may suit a candidate that has previously worked as a food graduate, food lab technician, food lab analyst, QA, Quality Auditor, QC, Quality Control, Technologist, Technical administrator, Specifications technologist, raw materials, Technical Assistant, Compliance manager
