Project Engineer

Fresh on the market is a Project Engineer vacancy for a successful manufacturer based in Leeds that is offering comprehensive benefits such as 10% employer pension, 33 days of annual leave and private health care to name a few.

This exclusive role has become available due to an increased level of projects on site, requiring an individual to provide support and resource to the team.

This well-established, award-winning company was formed over 20 years ago and has been rapidly growing since then.

They are a well-known and popular manufacturer who distributes their products nationwide.

You will be based at their advanced site in Leeds and have a great opportunity to implement your experience and input development across the whole site.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide in-house support to the relevant managers with designs, specifications, and modifications ahead of or during phase plans.


• Managing of project contractors and permit to work systems as per requirements.


• Identify and place orders for project parts.


• Plan and prepare for routine maintenance following new machinery installations


• Carry out new machinery risk assessments


• Manage machinery and part deliveries.

I would love to see CVs from individuals who have:

• Previously worked as an Electrical Project Engineer, Mechanical Project Engineer, Project Engineer or similar.


• Experience working in manufacturing as one of the above job titles.


• Have experience of project management.


• Hold an NVQ, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.


• Knowledge of machinery regulations.
