Consumables Stock Controller

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of consumables on site (collect stock that has been ordered, scan it in, ensure that stock is available in the correct stock locations, liaise with clinical staff, scanning stock out to procedure rooms)

  • Place orders via an inventory management system (ensure stock levels are optimized based on usage)

  • Undertake stock takes

  • Forecasting stock to ensure that no patients are cancelled due to lack of clinical consumables

  • Manage quarantine of product/product recalls/shelf life expiry/loss management and physical returns

Work Experience Requirements:

  • A DBS disclosure is required for all applicants - the successful applicant must agree to a disclosure report

  • Experience in: Stock Control, Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory Management

  • Management of multiple SKU's (Stock Keeping Units)

  • Attention to detail and conscientious

  • Be able to build interpersonal relationships between all levels of staff

These positions are offering a base salary of £23,000-£25,000 depending on experience.

These roles would be best suited to someone who can easily commute or is willing to relocate to the Liverpool area as the positions will be on-site (Aintree University Hospital & Royal Liverpool University Hospital).
