Electrical Engineer - Salary - £45-50k - Location - West Yorkshire

An exciting job opportunity has become available for an Electrical Engineer in West Yorkshire for a well-known manufacturing company.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for driving electrical focus improvements, developing and supporting the engineering team as and when required.

You will be supporting projects and transfer knowledge to enable day and shift craft to work effectively on a day to day basis.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Electrical Engineer:

• Implement PLC improvements - Machinery


• Deliver PLC higher skills documentation, update of machine electrical drawings.


• Provide technical support for all shift resource.


• Attend regular one to one meetings with the line manager to discuss progress and set goals/objectives.


• Work flexibly to support with cross-functional projects and initiatives.


• Electrical compliance, maintenance and focus improvement activities.

Competencies required from the Electrical Engineer:

• Familiar working with PLC software such as : Siemens, Mitsubishi, Lenze


• Experience designing and building programs to be installed on equipment.


• Be able to modify existing programs.


• Experience commissioning electrical & electronic equipment.


• Machine health and safety knowledge (PUWER).


• Electrical fault finding skills.


• Experience working in a fast paces production environment.
