Lead Radiographer MRI CT - Private Healthcare

Full-time permanent, 3 days x 12-hour shifts

MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of our award-winning client for this amazing opportunity as a Lead Radiographer.

This role would be well suited to a current Lead or a Senior looking to take a step up.

Prior MRI and CT experience is a must for this role as you'll be working closely with the Imaging Manager to support in the running of the Imaging department.

• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography with Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC) registration.


• Scanning expertise and knowledge across both CT and MRI


• Leadership skills: Must have experience in mentoring more junior members of the team.


• Supporting with rotas and the running of an imaging department would be desirable.


• Prior Hospital management experience would be ideal.

Duties:

• To ensure the highest of patient care is taken every day to ensure the smoothest of visits.


• To carry out general and specialised radiographic procedures within their scope of competence as agreed with the Imaging Manager to high technical and quality standards.


• Assessing patients & interpreting clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic techniques.


• Ensuring good practices throughout your work: high quality diagnostic images, radiation protection, and safety whilst following company standards


• Supporting in the running of the MRI and CT departments, staff training, organising rota's and radiographer caseloads.
