Social Work - Assessment Team

A Local Authority in Cheshire East is looking for a Social Worker to join their Adult Assessment Team.

This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in a assessment environment.

The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently without the need for supervision.

Your responsibilities as an Adult's Assessment Social Worker:

• Identification of risk and the need for protection, determine the method of intervention


• Liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies


• Manage and monitor an allocated workload within individual and group priorities


• Maintain appropriate records of work undertaken and carry out required administrative procedures.

Requirements of you as an Adult's Assessment Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

• A valid Social Work England registration


• A valid UK driving licence

Location: Greater Manchester, Cheshire East

Umbrella pay rate: up to £39.84 per hour
