Family Paralegal

Our client is a leading law firm based in the East Midlands looking to appoint an experienced Family Paralegal specialising in divorce to join their Family team in their Derby office.

The main focus of this role will be on private family work with an emphasis on divorce, financial remedy and private law children.

Our client has a desire to push themselves forwards to better serve clients and this has been a constant throughout their evolution.

As a Family Paralegal, your role will include taking instructions from and providing assistance to the fee earners and you will also build your own caseload.

- preparing documents, forms, bundles and preliminary documents.

- Attending court meetings with new and existing clients

- Liaising with the court and counsel

- Providing legal and administrative support to the qualified fee earners within the team.

The ideal candidate must have experience in the above as well as excellent client care skills and be technically strong with a keen eye for detail.
