Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Salary: £41,000, Permanent

Working Hours: 08:00 to 17:00 (40 hours)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Location: Westminster, United Kingdom

Contract: Westminster City Council

The hiring company are looking for an experienced Level 3 Mechanical Maintenance Technician who can cover the call outs for their 65+ sites on the Westminster City Council contract.

You will be joining their Facilities management team, which consists of 15 team members, covering the whole of Westminster; broken up into clusters to make your workload manageable, the jobs are all in relatively close proximity and is foot mobile.

Responsibilities:

• You will be carrying out maintenance and repairs (planned and reactive) of the building services assets, plants and equipment across the contract.


• You will be carrying out new mechanical works such as; Renew works, refurbishment, installations and an work associated with the life cycle


• You will be required to respond to helpdesk requests


• You will use the Maximo mobile hand held device to manage your work on a daily basis, completing assignments within deadlines to avoid penalties.


• You will ensure site logbooks are completed


• You will be reporting to the supervisor when you need to report emergency works


• This role will be required to participate in the call out Rota

Applicants will be considered if you meet the requirements below:

Level 3 Mechanical qualification or a Reconginised Mechanical trade apprenticeship

Suitable experience in Plumbing, Heating and ventilation industry

Willing to work independently and contribute to sharing knowledge with the team

Willing to take on AP/RP duties as required - Additional payment will be issued

Experience within L8 Legionella is only desirable

Willing to work with apprentices if required

Desirable to hold a Full UK driving license

Salary up to £41,000
