Design Engineer

The Role:

Based from the office in Sutton Coldfield.
Designing, developing and implementing improvements to manufacturing and assembly processes.
Delivering improved efficiency and reducing downtime.
New product development, testing and research.
Up to £35k basic + Package



The Ideal Person:

Engineering qualification.
Experience of tooling or jig and fixture design .
Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings.
Able to use a range of measuring equipment.
Motivated towards achieving high standards of quality.
Good IT skills , including Microsoft Office suite .
Demonstrates good 3D CAD modelling software knowledge (Creo Parametric preferred).
Auto-CAD software knowledge.
SAP Knowledge (Preferred but not essential).
Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
